About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Quality Assurance Manager to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in either our Oldham, Bower House office or our London, Euston Road office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
The overall purpose of the role is to lead a national team delivering Fire and Building Safety services and ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate standards, including the Building Safety Act 2022. Ensure a safety culture by leading a customer focused, performance driven, competent, efficient team. Incorporate innovation in technology and ways or working to further champion Guinness as a leader in this field.

Youll be able to demonstrate:
Essential:- Knowledge of current Fire Safety legislation and regulations.
- Experience of successfully leading, managing and motivating teams.
- Experience of effective budget management.
- Experience of effective contractor management.
- Track record of delivering results and high-quality services.
- Track record of creating proposals for investment options.
- Experience of working with Local Authorities and Fire & Rescue Services.
- Experience of co-ordinating major works programmes.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel) housing and property management systems.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
Desirable:- Experience of delivering excellence in a technical role.
- Experience of Quality assurance systems.
- Experience of using RiskHub.
QualificationsEssential:- NEBOSH qualification in Fire Safety (NGC1 & FC1&2) or equivalent.
- Fire Risk Assessment accreditation.
- Membership to IFSM (AIFSM or MIFSM) or to IFE (GIFireE, AIFireE or MIFireE).
Desirable:- Degree in building construction /surveying or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of BS 9999, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 & PAS 79 & 9980.
*If your base location is our London, Euston Road office you will receive an additional £6,000 London Job Supplement, making the total yearly salary £75,074*
